Really makes you wonder it that's not the reason the government is trying so hard to implement these bills regarding the internet. Freedom of speech is effective at stopping tyranny if it's used properly.

duh. Same reason the record and movie industries have gone so aggressively after "piracy" and been supported by governments and courts. control of information is the most important thing for those at the top. Notice on those lists of donors who got top appointments from Clinton's State Dept - the people who paid the most money got the most coveted slots. #1 was head of the FCC.

Where does the FCC even get their funding? Is it taxed based?
