Information has value. Sources of information are valuable. When a party fiddles with this via censorship, then they will lose money in the process.
An example is the major news outlets. They where all bought out in the 90s by 5 corporations. Those conspirators turned the news outlets into mouth pieces.
the result? all brands involved have been destroyed.
The same will happen to the internet. They need people to make content to make money. As they go around censoring content, they will lose money.
