Greenspan has been singing the same song for 20 years. That doesn't make him wrong, but look at the power of statists in the last 20 years. It will correct. It will be painful. Here's the rule that I have learned from about 20 years of playing currencies and commodities: we all know the right answers, but states have a nearly limitless resources to postpone the consequences -- more, at least, than the individual investor.
