Can you imagine the shit-show that would happen if AJ dropped dead, even if it wasn't a suspicious death? He could die from a meteor strike, and people would still call shenanigans. Hes got the eyes and ears of a lot of people that would suspect a covert assassination. I think a lot of big whistle-blowers and well-known conspiracy theorists are protected by this phenomenon.

There's also a trend I've noticed. The public figures that drop dead fall into 2 categories generally. You have outspoken counter-culture leaders that end up costing a major industry big money. Think Arron Swartz, after his war against PACER, scientific publishers, and SOPA. The second category is way more common. You have folks that are witnesses of, or in sole-possession of evidence that could implicate someone, generally a politician. These ones account for most of the clinton bodies.

So essentially, if you want to avoid political assassination, don't witness crimes, and don't cost big corporations money.
