A timeline: He maintained his protection even after the Democratic primary process ended on June 14, drawing some questions from his fellow senators as he returned to his day job on Capitol Hill.
I have no idea how you read that article and came to that conclusion.
I've noticed this more and more on VOAT. The people who complain about astroturfing are right. There's a lot of accounts about a year old that show up in threads, mostly to disagree. They seem to have a left slant and I notice them mostly in political threads. There was one railing about Mussolini and Trump. Scratch a bit, and you'll find that this was a talking point. I suppose they were created during some Reddit exodus and are being managed.
I'm hoping the voting system here functions better to manage the shilling. Reddit was poor at this. They should do IP checking as to not allow more than one IP vote on different accounts.
Well... I dunno. I wonder if the accounts were lost, or burners, or scripted creations. I could see the need for a centralized authority. Verified ID gets a token to create ONE account. That token is anonymized when it's redeemed for the account name. The uses and abuses of non-refutability/plausible deniability are still developing. There's more than one strategy of identity.

No.
Here's the headline: Sanders loses Secret Service protection
The lead: Sen. Bernie Sanders is no longer receiving Secret Service protection, a source said Tuesday.
Third sentence: The protection was dropped on arrival in Washington, according to a source familiar with the senator's schedule.
