So when I'm accused of being a Truther with a negative connotation, it makes me laugh uncontrollably. Because apparently in 2014 we live in a society that will demonize the attempt to find the truth!! As if the truth is a negative thing, as if Government lies are vastly superior to truth! its UNREAL and incredibly Orwellian. Personally I embrace the truth, wherever it will take me, and i wear Truther as a badge of HONOR

Exactly! "Our" media gave us that name in an attempt to denigrate...but the shoe fits.
When I'm called a 9/11 Truther, I wear it proudly. And I use it as a jumping-off point to counter the 9/11 Liars.

Because whats the opposite of a "truther"?
Canadian_POG ago
A Faither. Faithful to "authority".

i was thinking "liar" lol

The lies come from the liars yes, but the people who eat them up are the faithful deniers.
I feel that "faither" works best if someone has the need to call someone a truther. it gets the point across well, as I've seen from it's use on Reddit.

i can see it, Liar implies that your understand the untruth you spread.

Exactly, and there are certainly both liars and deniers involved in that spread. Which is why, out of ambiguity, I usually speak to them as though they are the latter, rather than the "horses mouth" so to speak.
