As much as I want to join in the anti-socialist anti-cuck circlejerk, in Bernie's mind he actually believed if he hung on until the end, Hillary would get indicted and he'd become the nominee. Now he believes Hillary being indicted by the people she controls is off the table, but if he takes the path of least resistance (doing whatever TPTB tell him) they may throw him a bone in exchange for his supporters.
