Have the terms 'Libertarian, Liberal, and Leftist' been created as negative by the mainstream along with the promotion of SJW/Individual Rights (gender, safe space bullshit) to control thinking? (Conspiracy)

Okay, this is just from observations over the last few years, but I have noticed this strange trend for people to instantly act butt-hurt and get all knee-jerk in their reactions to anything they don't like. I thought this had been a thing and was gone but now it seems it's back with a vengeance.

For instance - we have many 'anti-libertarians' shouting and screaming that we shouldn't have designated safe spaces in public life - I agree. But then we have many of the same people shouting and screaming that we need 'safe spaces' from immigrants and refugees. Contradiction much?

We also have a recent growth in anti-intellectualism. Anyone who may be able to guide someone to make more informed choices is seen as an over-bearing expert and should really be ignored. This is a similar sentiment that finally led to the deaths of many teachers and philosophers during past revolutions (Cultural Revolution in China, Cambodia, Chile, etc.)

Has education in our schools actually led to less-educated people who don't really know any research skills other than to 'Google'?

Has our medical care ultimately led to keeping clinical 'idiots' alive whereas in the past they would have passed away thanks to natural selection?

Am I just getting old and disillusioned with what I see happening because it seems we are repeating the same mistakes that led to past conflicts like WWII; growth in nationalism, universal economic crisis, uneducated majority, purely emotional politics, etc.

Or is this part of a plan (military industrial complex), or is it just life's natural course and TPTB are simply taking advantage of certain opportunities?
