Wow! 49 doses of vaccines administered to children before they even reach kindergarten. That seems like an insane amount. I don't even know anyone over here in the UK that have had that many in their full life time never mind before kindergarten age.

I think you missed some. I count 37 in the first 12 months of life. I guess it depends how you count for the multi-vaccine shots.

I was just going off what the article op posted said, and I guess that is going to vary state by state in America depending on individual state policy. I've just checked the UKs' vaccine schedule for up to 12 months and it says children in the UK only have 8 shots in the first 12 months of life, and it states that around a child would have had around 14 by kindergarten age. In fact it says that in a full life time only around 20 shots are scheduled. Vaccine practice in America seems incredibly excessive.
