I am sure most of the migration here is from veteran /r/conspiracy members and those who saw the writing on the wall long ago and maybe just needed that last push to abandon reddit altogether (speaking mostly about myself but maybe there are those reading this to whom this resonates).
Just a reminder to you all who may or may not have lurked more often than not in r/conspiracy and the other subs on reddit - please be sure to vote things up/down. While I cannot tell you how to vote, I encourage you all to participate regardless. I will vote up anything that encourages thought and discussion, and will vote down obvious trolls and distraction posts. I used to like to reserve my upvotes (I would love to call them vote-ups here..) for those posts with proper references and sources that I can go chase down to satisfy my curiosity - but as far as we go here - empowering discussion is what matters.
Which means your participation matters. If you were more of a lurker and seldom-commenter before - the more active you are here will encourage the growth of this sub/verse and the continuation of our education going forward.
All the best -

I am looking forward to this becoming a bigger group than /r/ and I would love to see the lurkers type too, especially when we do the rules thread, cause you have a voice and if you don't use it, you loose it

I am a long time lurker, who very rarely commented, and never voted.
Its time to speak my mind and vote.

My apologies for the delay in replying (full time job and new dad are my go-to excuses) - but this comment made my night. Glad you're here.

I completely agree. I feel I was much more passive for the past few years - and since the blatant censorship and all of the other issues going on with reddit since it gained such steam as being 'The Front Page of the Internet," I plan on being much more active. And I hope to let everyone else know that we all need to take up that mantle (at least for the short term) until the more prolific posters from before either follow us here or decide to start contributing.

Similar story, my participation in /r/conspiracy had dropped to its lowest point when the attacks started to intensify. Blowback, I felt compelled to jump to the defense of our little community. I've been a lot more active in response, and a lot less complacent.
