Methamphetamines and amphetamines are almost exactly the same. So much so that the main difference is the body just converts meth into amphetamine leading to a greater potency.
Under no circumstances should it be advisable to give a child a dosage of amphetamines every day (or ever) even if the side effects seem beneficial. Might as well shoot them up with heroin so they go to bed at night too.

Dangerous drugs should never be made delicious. They're dangerous enough as-is.

Meth is poisonous to the brain. There are other not methamphetamines which are safer, like amphetamine.

Amphetamine salts greatly reduce appetite, hence the stunted growth.
