This is the original message I sent to the admins after being banned. Sounds pretty desperate now looking back on it. I guess what really bothers me the most about it is the $83+ which I spent over the 2 years buying gold for people, and the gold I bought myself, strictly to support Reddit financially. I did this because I believed it in the open exchange of ideas that I thought Reddit was truly about. Clearly this is not the case. .
It would have been one thing if it was just some throwaway account, but it wasn't.
You apologised, were willing to change the behaviour that had you banned and proved that you were invested in contributing to reddit in a positive way. And they just pissed on you. It's a powertrip from beginning to end from them. That they lost a valuable contributor along their trip didn't even phase them.
They showed you who they really are. It is their loss. But they don't care, they just wanted to trip. It's not you OP, it's them.
