I was looking at a Trump protest and counter protest. The amount of energy these people have just to argue with one another about the stupidest identity politic bullshit.
I bet if you went onto both sides and asked what they think of bankers you would get the same answers on both sides. Contrary ideas feed off of eachother. For us to rally we need an equal number of people who disagree with us. This is very fortunate for the bankers who are hated by everyone.
One group wants to cripple the bankers' power by increasing the scope of government, and the other by reducing it. In reality voting for the former ends up expanding the welfare state and the latter expanding the military-industrial complex, and insufficient people will ever waste their vote on a third party. In reality the system is compromised by legislative capture and working within it (voting) is no longer able to reverse that. You will never be able to convince enough sheep to realize that, because virulence decreases with mortality; i.e. the masters gave us "outsider" Reagan and let us "win" the Cold War and the economy seem healthy again, the same way they'll let us have another "outsider" this time around to dissipate discontent and keep themselves in power.
