Funny that every upvoat I give here in this thread shows up, but not a single downvoat. Tried this several times, several ways. Only upvoats are registering. What the hell gives?
Hmm.. then the numbers here do not reflect the real user base.. which is the whole point of "voating." I guess I'm taking a break from this place for awhile.. I'll check back to see if it's fixed in a week or so. If not, this place is has become shit like reddit.
The primary purpose of voats is to rank content. The bug is random so it would cause an upvoat bias on all posts. It would not significantly alter the rankings of popular posts.
