Seems this movie is just one long straw man fallacy arguing against the idea of equality by putting forward parameters that absolutely do not have to be the case in any way.
Equality is absolutely possible and recommended if a society is to move forward, evolve, and prosper. That doesn't mean what this film is saying it does by any means, however.
I agree. i understand where the other voat users are coming from, but to me personally equality means everyone is focusing on their strong points in life. Personally i feel that where you lose something you also gain something. If everyone can use their skills to the fullest extent, then that is equality.

You are a disease. People are different in every single way and equal in none and they never will be nor should they be. The richness of experience provided by difference is the entire point of existence.

You are the one failing in interpretation. "Equality" as equality of outcome, as presented in the film, is an abomination. You find the film offensive because you are a group thinking idiot who's been programmed to respond positively to the word "equality", and to hate anything that attacks any notion associated with that trigger word.
Your thinking is so muddy that you can't even articulate yourself clearly. Obviously "equality" as presented in the film is not "recommended if a society is to move forward, evolve, and prosper", so you are using a different sense of "equality" than is being used in the film, i.e. you are equivocating on "equality" whether you're being intentionally dishonest or your thinking is just too disorganized for you to keep things straight. What do you mean by "equality" since obviously you mean something other than the sense in which it is used in the film?
This is what you're doing: "I think 'murder' means 'tea party' so that newspaper editorial saying that murder is bad is a total STRAW MAN FALLACY. Tea parties are just fine and there's nothing wrong with them." In other words, your criticism is based in your own confusion, not on any actual feature of the film or its message. Learn to think.
There are 2 different ways of looking at equality. Equality of opportunity and equality of outcome, the film looks at the ultimate consequence of striving for the second.
