Putt tossed a dragnet for vote manipulation. Many got warnings, and many were banned. This created a shit storm on who's a builder/destroyer. Eventually, a shit posting army of alts caused enough of a civil war situation for putt to declare voat "the wild west" and reverse his bans. Normal users were too freaked and scared of the banhammer to incite the typical immune response that keeps voat "safe" from enemies both foreign and domestic. Registration was temporarily suspended. Meanwhile, Q drama over their leader, shrayzie, was in full effect. She was doxxed by the aforementioned alt army leading to more bans that were later reversed. That's basically her own fault for putting personal info out there and sending racy pics to other voaters. Their replacement leader, possibly her alt, left after a day leaving long time goat crensch in charge. He's in 4WD trying to steer them from the shit fields which creates more drama among other long time users. While this is happening, a campaign for public transparency on who everyone up/downvoats flaired up and seems to have died off just as quickly. It would seem the "bad" goats turned out to be the "good" goats, and putt seems to be MIA.
