Can someone explain the conspiracy between the sinking of the Titanic and the creation of the Federal Reserve? (AskVoat)

I've heard about it in the past and it sounds interesting. From what I can find (outside of watching a 4 hour YT video), it was some sort of insurance scam carried out by swapping the Titanic with a Damaged ship? And they fucked up the rescue somehow?

Anyone have any evidence or a proper description of the conspiracy? Was the titanic the USS Liberty of that generation?

No idea. I was 6, got enamored with the ship probably after reading a book about it, went down the documentary hole. Back when research was still being done on the thing. Read all about it. Played Titanic: Adventure Out of Time eventually. I eventually saw the Titanic film not for the plot, but for the faithful recreation of the ship.
