It was not a DMCA takedown notice. It was a trademark infringement claim. It was frivolous and the matter was dropped.
Putt did not 'ghost' the account. The user had already 'deleted' the account, thus the gravestone badge and the lack of any comments or submissions in the account history. That happens with all account 'deletions.' The username remains but is disassociated with their history and marked with the RIP badge.
I'm not sure when it happened, but the page for the deleted account, which had the gravestone badge and lack of comments/submissions, is no longer there:

I just confirmed that that was the account and spelled correctly. I then asked Putt in voatdev. We shall see what, if any, response there is.
