What about screen shots from your phone?

MrPim ago

Just an FYI, what you're asking about is called EXIF data. Just to make a search for these kinds of answers easier.

DavidHogg ago

I couldn’t for the life of me remember what it was called.

Just using something like Paint to Save a copy of the IMG should work. Basic IMG programs like Paint don't support that data. So they Can't save that data. Make sure you upload that copy to the IMG host of choice

I'm not sure about that one. I rarely take a screenshot of my phone. It probably varies from phone to phone, app to app. You can probably find an option to View EXIF data. Like I select and hold down on an image to get options. I doubt a screenshot contains EXIF though.

DavidHogg ago

I thought that might be an easier way to remove the exif. I’ve done it before but didn’t know for sure.

MrPim ago

It might. Give it a shot and view the data in the screenshot. I think it might work.
