@kevdude, can you please explain the specifics here? As I understand it, if someone else uses bad words in a system level comment, it will be completely invisible to you, without even a little [-] expando, unless logged in with NSFW enabled.
So what about search engines? If I put a bad word in the title, is my post invisible to search engines?
No idea.
There is a feature on Voat that submissions can be tagged as NSFW. IF a submission is tagged as NSFW and you have opted not to see NSFW content in your settings then you will not see it. Posts tagged as NSFW do not show up to external viewers of the site. Typically it is a voluntary tag that the submitter makes.
Putt made it so that any posts with certain words that are actually Not Safe For Work made to @system subverses would be automatically tagged as NSFW. If you make a post with one of these words to another subverse then it will not be autotagged as such and it would be viewable to any external user that chooses to view v/all.
I can't speak for how any of this affects search engines. Maybe check an NSFW subverse and pick a title and then search for that title in quotes and verbatim in a search engine.
So it turns out, if you pick an NSFW sub, say qrv for example, and pick their top post or stickied post, and copy the title, and paste "qrv Voat copied text", the search engine will find it.

Nope. If there are bad words in the TITLE of a @system SUBMISSION it will not show up for you unless you are logged in and enable NSFW content.
Comments are not affected.

Why are you asking in anon?

Wait, I thought nsfw content was still viewable when not logged in, there's just no thumbnails. I'll do some experiments tomorrow, anyways. Cheers.

Again, if it has been TAGGED as NSFW no. But if it has not been tagged it should be.

I'll do that and see what happens, tomorrow. Thanks.
I'd tell you why I asked anon, but that would defeat the purpose of asking anon, sorry.
