i'm not interested in rummaging through all the depressing shit that's going on in the world any longer, so i'm looking for someone to adopt /v/altnews

there are some people that really appreciate the sub and i'd like the new owner to keep the same format, which is higher quality, hard-hitting news content from sources that are deemed to be reliable (see the sidebar for some of the sources i use)

i think the sub is a good compliment to /v/news since there are no fluff pieces, no alex jones, no MSM crap, etc., and i think it's an important sub, even though the subscriber number is small at just over 600 atm

i would ask that i be made a contributor so i can post more than a few stories if i feel the occasional need and, most importantly, that the new prospective owner have a well-established post and comment history - i do not want to let this sub fall to CTR/shill types
