I read the paper. It's a very elaborate and wordy way of saying "Yeah this QAnon shit is a cult". On the other hand, it's a very detailed introduction and tour of Voat, with many of the site rules and stuff described in detail. His cited sources are pretty shitty in my opinion, but I think social sciences in general are pretty shit so YMMV. The guy drops some redpill content in there without too much denouncing. Also the figure 8 plots on page 11 are very interesting. Compare how "severely toxic" this site is with how "inflammatory" it is. I bet those results would be drastically different on sites like Poal or reddit or whatever.
