My guess, and it's purely a guess, is that @PuttItOut forgot to wildcard it.

He banned example.tld and not *.example.tld.

Again, that's just a guess, but it's a guess that explains exactly what we're seeing.

I don't think that is the case, because I tried submitting from ust.chatango.com after the ban (it took a day or so before it took effect). I get what you are saying though, and both domains show the same thing:

Hmm...

I just tried submitting a garbage URL with ust.chatango.com in the name and it said it was a banned domain. I was checking to see if it allowed me to do so. It did not.

Before assuming malice, I'd guess it's a bug/glitch/error somewhere in the process. Sure, Putt's pretty absent lately - but I don't see any reason to assume it's due to malice without more evidence of intent.
