@PuttItOut hasn't given us an update, we've received no kind of answer as to what happened, and honestly that bothers me. He's said he'll post one when he can elsewhere someplace else.

We haven't heard from the admin since the outage, and that's not okay. I get it, we're a hard bunch to handle, we ping him constantly, but as the head of Voat, he needs to communicate with us. This place is very quickly becoming one of the last bastions of free speech here on the internet, and with Putt not talking, I feel as though that may not quite be the case anymore.

I'm also wrong here, as he's been active as recently as five days ago.

I'm not trying to fear monger or whatever, but do keep a level head about this. This absence is out of character for him. Outages are usually handled quickly by the admin, and then we get some kind of thing letting us know what happened.

I guess I let some kind of hysteria get to me. He wasn't absent, I just didn't check first.

I'm not about to migrate over to poal, but we should probably keep our minds open, just in case.
