Sorry - I thought you were talking about a SearchVoatBot Cross-Link notification.
You got that notification as a "Comment Mention" ping because you were mentioned in the comment. It's not generated automatically - any time your username is mentioned in a comment you'll get that notification. It doesn't mean the system (or anyone) thinks you made the comment it's replying to.
