This moron probably doesn't "get" that the only thing keeping him alive is the fact that he's in the news and in a location in the US where everybody knows where he is and is interested in what happens to him.
If they let him out, you know the fix is in. He'll die in a plane crash, or he'll make it to Pakistan and get killed in a "robbery gone wrong," or he'll commit suicide by shooting himself in the head twice (just like reporter Gary Webb did after he uncovered GHW Bush's CIA-cocaine program.)
