I am in the US. Before I posted this, I did a search on google using pizzagate, and we were not showing at all on the results http://archive.is/PFdyg. The link at the bottom (with the DMCA complaint) shows us listed for blocking: https://www.lumendatabase.org/notices/13959495

Because google is constantly updating, things have changed in the last hour, but the issue is still there. Google, FB, Twitter, YT are all trying to find ways to either block or censor our results to limit exposure to the voat platform related to pizzagate. Given the size of the community and engagement, we should dominate the results of any search on the term pizzagate, but we do not due to overt censorship. #pedogate may be a better term to work around this issue while explaining in a better way what we have really uncovered.

Google.com search pizzagate and v/pizzagate shows up but not with other google website searches;

Example Google UK voat doesnt show up.

Google pizzagate on google.co.uk and only on the second page does v/pizzagate/new show up

https://www.google.co.uk

Here is an archive of results from this morning on a google search in the US of pizzagate: http://archive.is/PFdyg (notice how VOAT is not listed).

You have to use the uk google search;

https://www.google.co.uk

Search pizzagate on google.co.uk

reasonedandinformed ago

Yep. No results on page one for voat right now when you do this: https://www.google.co.uk/#q=pizzagate&*

reasonedandinformed ago

google "pizzagate" alone, and you WILL NOT find voat. If you do, it is a change from an hour ago. This is the point of the censorship. If someone has voat in the search, they already know of us. If they google just pizzagate, they may be curious, wanting to learn more, but they will not find this platform due to the censorship. What they will find are "fake news" articles that falsely claim to have debunked this. You will see a DMCA notice at the bottom of the page (make sure to scroll down to see and click on it), and v/pizzagate is literally one of the listed sites that is being blocked. [To find this, just do a search on the results in the complaint for voat since it is a long list.]

Since this censorship is a moving target, the results may vary a bit, but there is an absolute effort to block, or at least suppress, voat from showing up in results on google, in youtube searches/views, on twitter (where I and many others have been shadowbanned, blocked, or had accounts closed). This is an ongoing issue, so we need to find ways to get people to our site without using the term "pizzagate," which results in reduced exposure to those who do not know about the truth revealed on voat.

Edit: @LostandFound created an archive that shows the results we were getting this morning on a google search of pizzagate: http://archive.is/PFdyg (proves that voat was literally scrubbed from the results). https://voat.co/v/pizzagate is specifically listed in the banned results page off of that link - https://www.lumendatabase.org/notices/13959495.

Just visited from my browser (and I've never been on Voat from it) and it still shows up about 5-7 links down. So...

reasonedandinformed ago

Yes, but it was not showing AT ALL this morning due to the censorship effort. Here: http://archive.is/PFdyg

At least we have documented this even if it is temporarily reduced as a problem...but it still does not show voat in google searches of pizzagate in other countries. Example in UK google: https://www.google.co.uk/#q=pizzagate&* (not on first 5 pages, and then I stopped).

GeorgeT ago

Same with utube, unless I type the name of an actual channel, for example 'Titus Frost latest' I get the latest from that blogger, but if I type in pizzagate I only get results from 3 months ago, and interestingly from Alex Jones, and Steven Colbert and others debunking it.

reasonedandinformed ago

Yes. We need to really create an updated thread that exposes the various methods to censor in one place. It can be very subtle but very effective as someone who does NOT know about voat/pizzagate truth would not even know what they were missing...being exposed only to the "false debunking" would cause them to simply dismiss and not look further as there literally is "nothing more to see" due to the censoring techniques.

reasonedandinformed ago

Yes. But here is an archived result on a google search of pizzagate from this morning that shows the real censorship problem: http://archive.is/PFdyg (notice how VOAT is not listed).

redditsuckz ago

its because dookiehowzer is using google.com /USA and you are using google.ie /Ireland

For some reason v/pizzagate is showing up in the US Google search but not in other countries.

Here are other google top level domains of other countries;

http://www.genealogyintime.com/articles/country-guide-to-google-search-engines-page3.html

reasonedandinformed ago

v/pizzagate what not showing on a US google search of pizzagate this morning when I first made my post: http://archive.is/PFdyg. Google is very actively trying to censor as we have also seen on Twitter, FB, and YT.

redditsuckz ago

Check the archive link...its https://www.google.ie/search?q=pizzagate&*&rct=j

Thats google.ie /Ireland

Yes i saw voat being shared on twitter the other day too now that i remember, like 4 tweets in one hour were linked to voat threads

reasonedandinformed ago

They are censoring on twitter in a very shady way. Some threads have written about this, but it appears one main method is to hide any reference to pizzagate/voat to followers who have large and engaged audiences. So someone with 200 followers may see it, but the person with 100K followers will not even see the same tweet. The person posting the tweet will never know, but this has been documented. The censorship is creative and a moving target, but it is very real.

Millennial_Falcon ago

Same.

reasonedandinformed ago

google pizzagate alone, and scroll to the bottom for this message:

In response to a complaint we received under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, we have removed 1 result(s) from this page. If you wish, you may read the DMCA complaint that caused the removal(s) at LumenDatabase.org.

Link to the complaint where v/pizzagate is listed as blocked: https://www.lumendatabase.org/notices/13959495

I tried earlier ( Europe ) and can confirm that voat has been delisted. As soon as I introduce a typo its back. I have nothing to gain by perpetuating this, 100% confirm from here anyways.
