Please differentiate between general NSFW/NSFL and PORN.
It's the difference between LiveLeak and PornHub. For most people, the two are not interchangeable.
They have little to nothing in common in terms of intent and purpose. So those types of content should not be treated as the same. It should be possible to filter/hide them separately.
This would involve splitting the "Is Adult (NSFW)" checkbox on submissions into two. Likewise for the corresponding filter checkbox in the account settings.

I figured as much... Frustrating people are so emotional and juvenile about it.
They're separate and even opposing ideas, which is why I split them into two. No point in differentiating if porn is not permitted anyway; and no point in banning porn if you can filter is easily without hiding non-pornographic "mature" content. Hence "Alternatively".
The whole point was to gauge which approach the community would prefer (with a strong expectation this one would be better received).
Oh well.
