You could sell anonymized user data. Not sure how much it'd be worth, or if you feel that'd go against Voat's principles. But as long as it's anonymized, I would think that's fine.

Having no idea about exactly how and what data is sold, I'm not sure if that'd ever be something even useful to do though.

There is no way to do this as all comments are public, thus they can be deanonymized easily. We figured this out when we were trying to get test data to some contributors that were going to work on performance. In the end we couldn't do it, no way to keep user privacy in anon threads and other areas.
