Krayzee Bone (from Bone thugs n harmony) has a podcast/YouTube channel and I watch it from time to time. In one of the episodes, he talks about a secret meeting where it was decided to make hip hop/rap violent and full of drug use and misogyny... who knows if it's true, but seems like that's exactly what we saw happen.

It's hard for me to listen to someone speak in Ebonics for too long, but I can appreciate a woke black man trying to awaken others.
