Your title is a Post Hoc Ergo Proper Hoc logical fallacy. Truth or not, you make no connections between the supportive argument and the conclusion. Please don't do this as it pings fags' "shilldar". Try providing substance to your posts please.

Thanks for getting me anon. I was concerned I might unintentionally offend if the reference wasn't recognized. But then it was just so perfectly there that I couldn't resist going full Idiocracy on that sum' bitch. Anyway, I appreciate you fren.

If we have to lose our sense of humor what's the point in winning at all.

I (otheranon) feel you fren! I have been recovering from multiple concussions and have been quite irritable (which looks like I'm just an angry old man -- no crutches or wheelchair to indicate, "that's an injury", sadly) for years. A month or so ago I started making Rick Simpson Oil and it is life-changing. Wow. I have a sense of humor again! I can have a conversation without getting frustrated (and angry) when I forget parts of the beginning of the conversation -- because I'm not forgetting any more!

And I am developing software again. I just wrote a Perl script to take as input an outline (with one level of indent only) which I created based on Github's AgileCRM PHP API documentation's table of contents, and convert it into class names for the outer level, and test names (as well as API calls) for the inner level. Then it writes two source files, src/api.php and tests/apiTest.php, runs phpab to generate the src/autoload.php file needed for the next step, and runs phpunit to verify that the source files were created properly and compile and test correctly.

I'm writing some "middle-ware", my own version of the API so that it can be used for a friend's website. It's really, really cool that I am able to do this again!

Created a Jenkins job (I did have a Jenkins server running, as that was part of my previous skillset and installing/configuring is much less taxing on the brain than creating new code) as well, running phpab and phpunit on checked-in versions of those generated src/api.php and tests/apiTest.php files, and configured it to run after every checkin. So now, I can just write a test, verify it's failing (since the API for it doesn't exist yet), then check it in and the Jenkins job will fail; then, write the API code, verify the test succeeds (i.e., part of the debug cycle; might need to update the test once it's actually hitting the API code), and then check it in and the Jenkins job will succeed! I've had a lot of fun the past couple days doing this. And, doing long stretches of coding at a time as well, without headaches or needing to take rest! I know I could have just "done it by hand" (with judicious use of copy/paste and search/replace), but this helped me "flex my coding muscles" and also -- now I have some from which I can generate a skeleton for any API with corresponding tests!

This is just mind-blowing. Also, Rick's initial issue that he used it for was a head injury, although likely worse than mine. And it has worked wonders for him. I am so glad I decided to "take the risk" and make some! Costs are $2k for a pound of cannabis, and around $300 for the equipment. I documented it a couple weeks ago: https://voat.co/v/QRV/3509014
