An earlier post dealt with the repeal of the Smith-Mundt Act, the repeal of which made it OK for the government to freely use propaganda.

People immediately linked that information to false flags. But, if you think further it is even more alarming. The post had a link to this article:

From the article [the last sentence quoted here stands out]

Why could they not claim that they "truly" (whatever their definition of "true" is - remember, they want truth, not facts) believed that it was in the best interests of our country that Trump be prevented from becoming president, or failing that, that he be removed? They would claim that their lies "were of service to US interests," and they could "face little to no accountability." That could explain the smugness and arrogance of Comey and the rest.
