THE FOUNDING FATHERS WERE DEISTS, NOT CHRISTIANS
Thomas Paine, pamphleteer whose manifestos encouraged the faltering spirits of the country and aided materially in winning the War of Independence: "I do not believe in the creed professed by the Jewish church, by the Roman church, by the Greek church, by the Turkish church, by the Protestant church, nor by any church that I know of . . . Each of those churches accuse the other of unbelief; and for my own part, I disbelieve them all."
George Washington, first president: He had the characteristic unconcern of the 18th century Deist for the forms and creeds of institutional religion. Although he often referred to Providence as an impersonal force, remote and abstract, he never declared himself to be a Christian according to contemporary reports or in any of his voluminous correspondence. Washington championed the cause of freedom from religious intolerance and compulsion. When John Murray (a Universalist who denied the existence of Hell) was invited to become an army chaplain, the other chaplains petitioned for his dismissal. Instead, Washington gave him the appointment. On his deathbed, Washington uttered no words of a religious nature and did not call for a clergyman to be in attendance.
John Adams, second president: Drawn to the study of law but facing pressure from his father to become a clergyman, he wrote that he found among the lawyers "a noble air and gallant achievements" but among the clergy, the "pretended sanctity of some absolute dunces." Late in life, he wrote, "As I understand the Christian religion, it was, and is, a revelation. But how has it happened that millions of fables, tales, legends have been blended with both Jewish and Christian revelation that have made them the most bloody religion that ever existed?"
It was during Adams' presidency that the Senate ratified the Treaty of Peace and Friendship, which states in Article XI:
"The Government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion."
Thomas Jefferson, third president and author of the Declaration of Independence: "I trust that there is not a young man now living in the United States who will not die an Unitarian." He referred to the Revelation of St. John as "the ravings of a maniac" and wrote, "The Christian priesthood, finding the doctrines of Christ leveled to every understanding and too plain to need explanation, saw, in the mysticisms of Plato, materials with which they might build up an artificial system which might, from its indistinctness, admit everlasting controversy, give employment for their order, and introduce it to profit, power and preeminence. The doctrines which flowed from the lips of Jesus himself are within the comprehension of a child; but thousands of volumes have not yet explained the Platonisms engrafted on them: and for this obvious reason that nonsense can never be explained."
James Madison, fourth president and Father of the Constitution: Madison was not religious in any conventional sense. "Religious bondage shackles and debilitates the mind and unfits it for every noble enterprise." "During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What have been its fruits? More or less in all places, pride and indolence in the Clergy, ignorance and servility in the laity; in both, superstition, bigotry and persecution."
Benjamin Franklin, delegate to the Continental Congress and the Constitutional Convention: "As to Jesus of Nazareth, my Opinion of whom you particularly desire, I think the System of Morals and his Religion . . . has received various corrupting Changes, and I have, with most of the present Dissenters in England, some Doubts as to his Divinity; tho' it is a question I do not dogmatize upon, having never studied it, and think it needless to busy myself with it now, when I expect soon an Opportunity of knowing the Truth with less Trouble." He died a month later, and historians consider him, like so many great Americans of his time, as a Deist, not a Christian.

I think all religion is used as mind control, and all has good and bad sides, most are a majority of bad. More wars and killings said to be in the name of religion than any other thing in history. Sure greed plays a huge role, but religion is the mind control used to create the weapons of the wizard.
I respect all of our groups thoughts on religion. You do you. While this IS a battle of good vs evil, it's not a battle of religion vs religion. It's a battle of all against evil and corruption. Don't allow them to use your religious beliefs as a tool. Stay focused and realize it's good vs evil not Christian vs Muslim, or Jew vs all, or Muslim vs jew etc.. it's just all of us vs evil corruption.

Stop trying to speak for the rest of us, you moral relativist tool. No one put you in charge.

I completely agree. Know what else the founding fathers said? That it was to be a WHITE nation, hence why the 1790 naturalization act explicitly stated that only "whites of good character" could become citizens, and why even "muh based republicans freeing the slaves" Q always drums on about wanted to send the slaves back home (see : liberia).
So yes, I completely agree, America was quite explicitly not designed as a Christian nation. On the other hand, it was explicitly designed as a white nation (and one in which women could not vote). Do you accept the last 2? If not, then surely you accept the first can change. If you accept the first, surely you accept the second two?

Something that we all need to take a look at is who was chiefly behind the production, translation and canon of the modern day king James bible. What concessions did king James allow. What was the council of nicea and Trent? What exactly was the bishops bible? Do we have the whole picture of God? The number one question I have is why would god, who loves all, put multiple races and religions, only to grant salvation to those who have access to a priest. I'm sure there are some great theological answers to that one, but you get my point. There is only one God and he uses different prophets to speak to different people at different times. How many times has the evil ones taken over the doctrine?

Sikh patriot here :) Any good person from any God loving faith is my brother. Satanists, Jihadis, corrupt politicians and criminals is where I draw my line.

I’ve known a handful of my Sikh brothers, and they were all patriots with nothing but love for their fellow man. I had great respect for a couple of them. It sounds like you are cut from the same cloth :]
Fuck the division, I love all of my Patriot brothers and sisters.
God bless you friend.

Spoiler alert: Event Satanists(literal and falsely accused) are helping out in all of this too.
I know, it's mindblowing that Satanists aren't what you think they are and that some very much loathe corruption, but, deal with it.

As a Christian, that is how it is supposed to work.
Everyone is free to work with their own personal relationship with God.
All the problems come about from Muslim Jihadist, Jewish Zionist, or Legalistic Christians who are not so much concerned about their own personal relationship with God, but with forcing others to submit to it their own rules and laws about God.
None of us become holy and righteous by punishing others for their sins.
17608699? ago
Very well put.
If you are pushing your ideology on others, it has nothing to do with God and is just a push for political power.
If you truly love God, you will be happy to see others on their journey to enjoying God in their lives in whatever way they see fit - freedom is the best.

This is a Freemason nation if anything.

Agreed, Satan had sown the seeds of our own destruction from the very beginning.
17616164? ago
Satan is the true revolutionary spirit, and I don't mean that as a compliment. He revolted against his creator, God and tempted Eve to eat the fruit that would give her the ability to revolt, too.

One question, should dual citizens be allowed to serve in Congress?
