Better than buying it directly from them like our friends in Turkey. Hell, smuggled ISIS oil is likely cheaper that Oil from Iraq and doesn't fall into ISIS hands.
Am I missing something?

Maybe, they are probably helping each other and what we see is just a mirage, because the problem is really not black and white
