Guys, think about this for a second. Why would 9/11 have been setup by the government? Well, look at what it allowed them to do in the wake of it. The world has been changed forever because of that event and the "justification" for future events.
Now, what has changed since Sandy Hook? Barely a damn thing. Nothing has changed at the Federal level (where this would have to be organized) and only a small number of very liberal Governors and Mayors were able to pass things like magazine limits.
The number of people you'd have to bribe and keep quiet about this sort of thing far exceeds just the people who were directly related to those 20 kids. You'd have to bribe the entire town. And for what? Basically nothing has changed!!
Ok -- you're thinking, so I respect that. I also have no real information, but a little more speculation: maybe it failed? maybe Maybe Peter Lanza was the target, not "guns"?
That makes even less sense. It would be incredibly easy for an assassination to take place and make it look like a really bad car crash. Several orders of magnitude easier to do that than to bribe an entire town, etc, etc.
Sorry, you have to look at these things logically and that makes no sense. It's incredibly inefficient and unnecessary.
Perhaps. All I'm saying is that if we find incontrovertible evidence that it was faked, we still don't know why without a leak. We can guess, but we don't know. I'd also guard against "looking at these things logically" -- we should try to document. What appears logical depends on our preconceived notions. The "logical" answer to nearly every conspiracy theory is "the news wouldn't lie because they'd lose credibility when people found out".
I'm not particularly an adherent of the theory I linked. I admit that I'm operating from a position of ignorance. Also, the operation may have been unsuccessful.
