You don't even need TV for this one...there are enough rotten mothers and aunts who are happy to tell you that you can't do it without an epideral and "the Dr told me my baby would have died" blah blah blah. I am sure there are instances where western medicine DOES save babies and moms but we are about to drop our third baby onto the couch in a month :)
50% it was for ancient times? (Bronze to Classical era)
i don't remember but in medieval Europe in the holy roman empire the birthdeaths were largely reduced due to breakthroughs in medicine (despite what you have been thought about "brutal medieval doctors" real doctors weren't all leeches and bloodletting, a lot of the professional healers had a decent degree on herbalism and alchemy, and infact medicinal medicine was as powerful as today's medicine since monastery priests knew of wormwood (cleanses the insides from pests and all sorts of internal maladies) and saint john's wort/hypericum (makes depression go away, usually given to women who lost their child at chilbirth)
i myself use herbal remedies and i find them to be quite effective (i'm not kidding on hypericum, try it, it's like a happiness drug)
Iherb, and i recommend either getting it liquid (pure)
or Liquid Capsules (also Pure)
i bought from GaiaHerbs and it truly worked wonders
For Concentration i use a combination of Ginko Biloba mixed with Red Panax Ginseng root (i get mine from Prince of Peace on iherb, it's pure and got a very good bank for the buck)
Fun Fact, Red Panax actually lowers blood-sugar and increases fertility's in both males and females
it's one of the most used roots in Ancient Chinese Medicine
I need to study herbs more. I know ginseng is good but apparently it has to be used with caution, or so I have been told. I don’t ever take supplements until I have researched to death. The info you provided here is a good starting point for me.
In fact, I was thinking of starting metformin as precautionary drug to lower blood glucose and increase longevity. But I’m gonna study ginseng next, and also berberine seems to be effective.
Thank you, I will research this in my free time. But iirc, I read ginseng increases blood pressure and affects some other hormones. They use it in Korea for virility?
I don’t suffer from blood pressure yet, but have a strong family history of it. And recently, I have noticed it’s elevated because I have gained a lot of wait during the pandemic, I’m actually quite depressed about it.

True, all these jealous are putting those (((corrosive))) into the minds of impressionable young wimminz
like for fuck's sake, how did they think babies were born a thousand years ago?
at home, sometimes with a mid-wife
and they lived far fucking better than today
Olivefigs ago
How many women died during childbirth?
fightknightHERO ago
5-10% if memory serves
Olivefigs ago
Nah, no way! Maybe like 50%

Oh, I believe you regarding medieval doctors. Everything we are taught about history is a lie, for sure.
I think even if mother’s death rate improved somewhat back then, infant mortality rate was very high until modern medicine.
What do I suggest I use hypericum for? What are the side effects? Hormones balance? Where do I find it?

other herbs? Marigold and Dandelions are good for lowering physical pain
infact after my mother went through a car crash i brew'ed a tincture of these two ingredients and it has really made the pain go away
there are more powerful alchemical recipes using Valerian and Comfrey
but you need distillation for that
the power of herbs is well known in eastern europe and particularly by Russians, we trust nature far more than we do in Jew Doctors

Wow thanks!

I remember seeing on TV something about fake Ginseng pills being bad for the goy or some shit
but i take my Ginseng in PURE liquid format
hell the "other Ingredients" are as specified:
Honey, purified water, alcohol (contains less 0.5%), potassium sorbate (preservative), sodium benzoate (preservative).
just search Prince of Peace, Red Panax Ginseng Extractum, there is also one who is mixed with Ginko Biloba which helps to concentrate

Also, I saw similar stuff about ginko bilboa

Blood pressure about ginseng makes sense since athletes use it as an endurance booster
as for Ginko, i do remember it has some effects on endurance as well
do you suffer from high blood pressure?
