Real Christians took the white man's burden seriously, fake Christians wanted to get rich from trade in exotic goods.
They tried to enslave Natives first and they all died. Then they tried the White indentured servants and they wouldn't have it. But Blacks can be out in the hot sun all day picking cotton and not go crazy.
