Ann Coulter talks about this all the time, but I can't remember the last time I have heard Trump bring up this obvious point. Why doesn't he use this as a talking point against Democratic humanitarian pretentiousness? Why not just say outright that they are doing this to buy votes?
He could bring up the example of Ronald Reagan, who gave a massive amnesty to illegal aliens in the 1980s, and California, his home state where he had been a governor, went from being a reliably red state to one that is deep blue.
"The Democrats don't want what is best for the American people, they want what is best for themselves as career politicians." This type of argument is imho so fucking powerful.
