Photos of the oldest tree in Africa

Took these photos in 1989. The first is of the tree, the second is me standing in front of the tree. It was said it was the oldest tree in Africa. I think it was taken in the Caprivi Strip, Namibia on our way to Victoria Falls.

Is it a baobab (which we always call boabab for some reason)? Baobabs and quiver trees are my favourite trees.
