I don't think it's possible to slaughter 4000 chickens in 36 hours. My freezer would be too full.

Fried chicken sounds great, even leftover fried chicken! I don't know that those chickens would have been slaughtered right away (TLDR) but the woman raised the money within 36 hours to buy all 4000 and save their necks. Would she now be considered to be henpecked?
